CloTPass – Closed Testing Pass ("we", "our", or "us") operates the CloTPass mobile application ("App") as a platform to allow developers to exchange app testing opportunities in a closed testing environment. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use the CloTPass App.

a. User-Provided Information

  • Name and email address (for account registration and login)

  • Profile photo from google account (for set profile image)

  • App details you upload (title, icon, screenshot, description, app link on play store)

  • Tester activity (apps you test, points you earn)

b. Automatically Collected Information

  • Device information (model, OS version, device ID)

  • Usage data (features accessed, session length)

  • Firebase-generated user ID and analytics data

  • App installation checking 

c. Third-Party Services

We use:

  • Firebase Authentication

  • Firebase Realtime Database

To provide the best possible experience and ensure the functionality of our platform, CloTPass requires the following permissions:

  • QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES
    This permission is used to verify whether you have installed the apps that you agreed to test. This helps maintain fairness and ensures real engagement between developers and testers.

  • POST_NOTIFICATION: Used for receive notification about latest activity.

  • SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Used to send important reminders, such as:

    Reminding testers when their testing session is about to end.

    Notifying testers when a new app is available for testing.

    Reminding developers when their account does not have enough credit to reward other testers.

🛠️ 3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve the CloTPass app

  • Manage your account and points

  • Track testing activity and maintain system fairness

  • Send important service notifications

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

👥 4. Sharing Your Information

We may share limited information:

  • With other users (your public tester profile, not personal info)

  • With third-party services like Google APIs (only with permission)

  • As required by law (e.g., legal requests, fraud investigation)

💰 5. Point System

Your activity within the app (testing other apps) may generate points. These points can be:

  • Used to upload your own app for closed testing

CloTPass is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We take appropriate steps to secure your information using Firebase and standard encryption protocols. However, no system is 100% secure.
